The new land O Lakes theme. Every year in Aug we have Employee Appreciation Day. We can wear shorts and flip flops - get free food and lots of fun activities.
The event was on the 6th and here is the run down of the day:
7-8:30 - free breakfast - mini b'fast pizza, bagles, muffins,scones, fruit,yogurt and beverages
8:30-10 - employee meeting - free tshirts
10:30-4 - launch of new LOL mag - get your picture taken as the magazine cover - photo keepsake
11:30-1 - free lunch..veggie buurges, pulled pork,chicken sammies, beans,salad etc
12:30-4 - golf putt competetion
12_4 - Guitar Hero tourney
12:30-4 - Family feud
12:30-4 - Winfield Olympics
1-3 - casino games
1-4 - BINGO
1-4 - Pony Hops Around the World (I didn't do this so I have no idea)
1:30-3:30 - cake walk
2-2:30 - icre cream snack
All the games had prizes and there was a whole list of door prizes that all employees were eligible for. I won nothing :(
This is a great company in spite of any complaining you may hear from me time to time.

that is cool
the only thing Dave's company does is a christmas party...that ends up being a business meeting...that was in January...they do put us up in a hotel though cause of the drinking...we actually have to drive to Seattle cause he is a remote tech...but it works. Free food and a free trip to Seattle where the babysitter lives :)
